Warwick Independent Schools Foundation offers a School Bus Service exclusively for Foundation children from Year 3 upwards. We operate 10 daily bus services to and from school, arriving between 8.15am / 8.25am each morning and departing at 4.20pm from our coach park on the Myton Road.
The SBS has been further enhanced for 2018/19 and will be trialling 'Late Buses' on 3 of our most popular routes (Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon and Banbury). These 'late buses' will depart at 17:45pm Monday to Friday from the coach park and will drop off at centralised 'HUBS' en-route; giving parents the opportunity to collect their children from key points closer to home, rather than negotiating the rush-hour traffic locally.
Each bus has a Coach Prefect appointed to the route for the academic year who are usually members of the Sixth Form. Each of our 10 routes is split into charging ‘Bands’ which are benchmarked for competitiveness.
The coach providers that we contract to work on our behalf offer modern, climate-controlled vehicles which all have seatbelts as standard. There is also luggage space available for large sports bags. All the drivers who are selected to work on these coaches have undergone the same level of safeguarding checks as WISF carries out for its own staff, and all are properly qualified for driving the school buses.
We also offer a ‘gratis’ shuttle-service for all bus-users from King’s High School to the coach park on the Myton Road (Warwick School) site. At the end of each academic day, coaches wait for the girls on The Butts (exit by the 6th Form) from 4.00pm. These supervised coaches then bring the girls to the main coach park on the Warwick School site to meet up with all 10 bus routes on offer at 4.20pm only.
